Site for the book festival

The Chamber Bookstore Festival is co-created by Poznan booksellers from 7 Poznan bookstores - Bookowski, Fairy Tale Bookstore, Passion Bookstore, Liber Bookstore, Bookarest, Health House Medical Bookstore and Arsenal. The aim of the initiative is to encourage Poznan residents to discover these fantastic places full of interesting people and passionate books.

We carried out the project together with the Cappibara Agency.

Description of implementation

The website for the Poznan bookstore festival was implemented in builder Elementor PRO. Her main requirement was to be able to easily search for upcoming events with a map of Poznań, on which participating bookstores were plotted.

The entire site was designed to look like a virtual poster. This was a challenge that was met successfully. Its graphic character had to be rendered on all sizes of devices, both computers and tablets and phones.

We also built a calendar of events here with descriptions of the events and profiles of the authors. The site was also meant to encourage more bookstores to join the event. To that end, we added a contact form.

Featured functionality

Mapping the style of the printed poster

The creators of the event were very keen that the look and feel, as well as the navigation of the site, should reflect the character of the printed poster. Such a demanding expectation was achieved by the creator of the Elementor PRO, as well as the ability to write dedicated code.

In addition to predefined functions, this tool gives you the opportunity to customize your design using your own code. Our team implemented the site combining both techniques and thus mapped the prepared graphic design 1:1 Achieving a unique effect.
